>*After bidding farewell to Fantasia and Lilia, you walk back towards the place where you woke up. A curious thoughtfulness takes over your thoughts as you walk along at a leisurely pace. You feel...*
<"Worried."
>*On top of...well, everything else that's happened, you think back to the strange dream you had the day before. What the hell was "the node"? Did that mean you had some...reason to be here?*
>*And if thats the case...what happens if you don't do whatever that purpose was?*
>*You hope your idea of travelling helping restore your memory is right...Gods only know how long that will take though.*
>*And yet...You're looking forward to it, in a way. The people here at least seem decent enough, and there didn't seem to be any kind of society-ending disaster looming over you, which felt nice. No one's tried to stab you so that must say something.*
<...Why is that my standard.
>*You look down at Chrominance, who also looks lost in thought. They look up at you and give what you assume is a smile. You're glad to have at least someone from wherever you came from.*
>*Quickening your pace, you feel a new sense of insight as you make your way back to Bearnard. His small cottage comes into view, with your thoughts swimming in all the possibilities of a new world.*
<"Return to Bearnard."
>*You greet Bearnard as you arrive, showing off your new chalkboard.*
>Bearnard: I hear you’ve helped out a lot of people around town. Mighty nice of you, you know. I treated you suspiciously at first but it seems like I owe you an apology. You’ve made some good friends here, haven’t you?
<Descant: Yeah, I'd say I have actually.
>Bearnard: I know you’ve just gotten used to being in town with us, but I hear there’s been trouble over in Three’s Forest. A good friend and long-time customer of mine is right smack dab in the middle of it. So I was hoping that you might be able to help them out like you helped us.
>If you decide to go, you should be careful though... The forest is a lot less friendly than us here in Louise Hill. The word out of the forest is that there’s some witches causing each other problems.
<Descant: ...Why do you think I can help over there?
>Bearnard: Since you worked so well between the residents here, I hope your diplomacy might help them.
<I mean fair enough I guess...?
>Bearnard: There’s also a rumor going around that the forest may hold some clues about whatever strange magic sent you lot here, but I don’t know for sure. If you’re curious, it might be worth looking in to.
>*That's what really gets your attention. Maybe it's worth it to go after all.*
<Descant: Alright, I'll see what I can do. No promises I'll be much help though.
>Bearnard: I'm sure even just trying something will help a bit.
>Just be careful out there, you hear? You can always come back to Louise Hill to see us again. I’m not much for all this excitement, but it’s nice to have someone else around with a level head on their shoulders.
<"Thank him and promise to return."
Descant: Yeah, I can't imagine not coming back after all you've done for me.
>Bearnard: I look forward to seeing you again.
>*You figure you and Chrominance are as prepared as you can be for your journey. You give them a nod and Bearnard a wave goodbye and set off.*
